Should I Never Drink Pre-Workout?
After reading all that, it’s hard to find a silver lining with pre-workouts since I didn’t give them much credit. However, that is most certainly not the case. There’s a very high chance that you may never experience any of the listed side effects above.
Like I said, pre-workouts work in different ways for everybody. For most people, safe, tested, and approved pre-workout supplements provide them with nothing but healthy energy for their workout. Nothing too overwhelming, but enough to get them to their best.
For me personally, I take a pre-workout going to the gym after work. The long 7-8 hour shift is quite draining, and running off water isn’t going to help me reach my potential with the workout. The supplement gives me my energy back that I used during the day for the next hour or so.
You may not have an 8-hour shift to worry about, but instead, just aren’t feeling it. I get those days too. Days that provide you with no energy, but with the motivation to hit the gym. A pre-workout definitely works in jams like those—spikes in energy for a tough workout to come.
In conclusion, is pre-workout safe? After it’s all said and done, pre-workout is considered safe. I mean, if it wasn’t, it wouldn’t be one of the most popular supplements on the market. Then again, that’s disregarding its actual ingredients and components that people are unaware of.
Choosing and researching the right pre-workout for you is crucial when starting to drink one before a workout. You could avoid side effects like jitters, digestives issues, and overall safety problems with a little research beforehand.
